Frequently Asked Questions
What age do children have to be to participate?
The activities will be aimed at ages 7-14, however we are quite flexible. Please get in contact if you have enquiries related to age or anything else.
Can parents come along?
This program is aimed at children only. Enjoy your free time while we take care of, educate and inspire your children!
When do we need to sign up by?
This is a popular program with limited places, so best to get in early! But please be sure to book your tickets at least 3 days prior to the event to avoid any disappointment.
What is the student to educator ratio?
Small groups ensure a quality and safe experience. There will be a maximum of 5 participants to 1 qualified educator to keep activities safe and fun for all!
Will the kids be getting in the water?
No, this is a land based experience. We will be exploring rockpools and as such, feet may get a little wet but getting in the water is not a part of this particular program. If you are looking for a snorkelling adventure, be sure to bookmark our Events page and join our newsletter here.
What does my child need to bring?
Where can I find reef safe sunscreen?
Sunbutter is a favourite brand. You can also find zincs and creams at your local surf shops or chemist. Zincs are great for your skin and contain a lot less chemicals than your typical sunscreens. The most harmful chemical which you want to avoid is oxybenzone, or any variant thereof.
